So I threw my controller at a wall today....
My internet disconnected when I was already in a bad mood because of the people using shotguns in IB and murmur doing minimal damage at ranges closer than I've one shotted, and getting killed by supers. In my defense, I was aiming for the couch and released late, nailing my brothers art supplies bin he got like 10 years ago and breaking one of the drawers. The only other noticeable damage was not feeling a click when i press the Y-button.
Edit: this seems like it is turning into a confession spot for other people's rages, not the original idea but keep em comin.

2 RepliesNot going to lie, in my younger years I probably single handedly kept controller manufacturers in work! I actually tore a PS2 controller apart with my bare hands once, courtesy of Miss Lara Croft............not my proudest moment, I admit........

I stopped throwing stuff like that when I had to start buying my own stuff. $60 a pop for a controller makes me think twice before trying to break it. Its still very tempting.

3 RepliesI take a deep breath and sigh. I don't get emotive during game play. Of course I have other ways I vent. Smoking cigars helps. If you're old enough, a good bourbon. If not, maybe go get tested. Ways of coping that may be considered inappropriate: breaking your stuff, breaking someone else's stuff, angry masturbation, laughing at the disabled, setting up intelligence tests for your pets you know they can't pass just so you can make fun of their inadequacies, describing your angry masturbation to fireteam members, bragging about how many Gjallahorn "guns" you've had drop, sending naked pictures to former classmates (of other people), ranting about how someone who is a level 31.999975 is a scrub and can't play with you. All of the above could identify you as psychologically disturbed. Play safe everyone.

Only ever thrown my control once, can't remember what for probably got spawn thorned or something but both my headset and play and charge kit were connected and it broke them both.. Fml

When I swing sword i spam the cheese out of my controller... Right trigger broke today on my original black controller. Just ordered my replacement trigger on ebay. P.s. I don't rage...

Man I haven't thrown a controller since my SNES days. And they were stuck to the console in those days, so it was never as dramatic as my little 10 year old arms wanted to make it.

Split my controller in half by throwing it at the ground because I was 1 kill away from another mark of the unbroken and sum of all tears but then got killed by a sub level 10 using panic post of havoc. First and last time I will ever rage that hard again.
