I don't smash controllers because:
- I am an adult
- I don't have anger issues
- I look after the things I buy
- I don't let a video game throw me into a rage
I wonder how many of the people confessing to smashing things in here (not necessarily the OP) are spoilt kids who didn't have to pay for the things they're smashing.

I'm an adult, I buy my own things, I respect my property. But damn! I get pissed at video games. I'm a pretty calm guy, and I rarely get angry, but video games and East Texas drivers can get me raging furiously. Never actually damaged anything, but I've tossed my controller pretty hard before.

I'm an adult and I can get great satisfaction from smashing something. Doesn't happen often though.

I do smash controllers because: - I'm an adult - I have anger issues - I take as mush care with an item as an item is worth - failure causes anger, or rage I'll be honest I've only smashed one ps4 controller due to destiny. I was solo Crota hard as a hunter and had him to one more down and got boomered. I don't like games beating me. I figure I can easily afford new controllers and not make my parents have to buy them so why not. Everyone has a way to manage anger sometimes I like to smash items with a perceived value. Some people like to drink or do drugs.. My $50 controller isn't a big deal.

The only reason people throw controllers is because they are already in our hands. It's the easiest thing to lash out with, I guess.

Actually I have a buddy who smashes a controller every now and then just because he knows he can afford another one. This doesn't stop me from telling him he should be medicated.

It'd be nice to be able to do that. My ps4 controller's 3.5mm jack hasn't werked since I got it with my console on launch day. Never got around to exchanging it.

I don't know about you but I buy my things myself and throw them arround as much as I want. Why would you even care?
