Well my character won't transfer if I do upgrade to a one or ps4 so no thanks, no way I'm grinding this game all over again

What console are you playing on now? If you are on PS3 and buy a ps4 you can continue Same thing if you are currently on 360 and you buy a one Just use the same account and your characters will be there

It acutally will. I have a Ps3 & my boyfriend thought the same thing until i got on his Ps4. My characters were there. All you have to do is sign on to your account once you get a Ps4. (:
