It's about these "people" called contractors that have their own unique power. They lose all their emotions and make decisions based on logic. Every time they use their power, they have to do a specific task sp they can use it again. It can be as simple as smoking a cigarette to placing pebbles in certain formation. The character is also a bad as with a sick mask! It's slow at first, but it gets better later on.
