So impossible that PCs have been doing this for years. Consoles are essentially PCs for all intents and purposes. Cross branding (PS to Xbox) would be slightly different as each console routes traffic through their own server structure first.

Nevermind thought this was for cross platform not backwards compatible. Probably could still happen but shouldn't.

It wouldn't happen because Sony and Microsoft would never let it happen.

I believe he means ps3 players playing with ps4 players, and xbox 360 players playing with xbone players

But PS3 FF14 players play with PS4 and PC FF14 players.
