Sorry for what happened to you, I know how you feel, I started Destiny off on PS4 since the Beta then switched over to Xbox One this past Jan. to be able to play and socialize with my brother (over seas) and his buddies. Having to start from scratch and grinding all over again, not to mention what RNG has in store for you, I was a bit wary too. But trust me the end results and new rolls that are possible on re-obtained weapons and armors are all worth it in the end. And HoW is around the corner. Wish you the best bud. By the way if your child is under 10, it's understandable but if not, there's a lesson here to be taught.
