Hired by Del Fino Corporation the Exalin team is hired to clear planet Thorisis Headquarters of a specimen that escaped Exalin intact and is multiplying on this planet. Populated by 3 trillion people, the situation is dire as the entire HQ is overrun. Currently curbed within the HQ, the team must exterminate the creatures before they spread out of control.

5 Replies-The Anomaly Team consisting of Murph, Phantom, and Vex walk through a Warp following the energy signature of that matched that of the Surge. When they exit the Warp, they pick up nearby life signals, one of them belonging to the lost Crew member, Ginger. As they near the signatures, the Scouters start to pick up on their radio chatter- Wait. *activates Electronic Blackout* Their scanners can't be alerted to us now. Let's just listen to their conversation to get a hold of the situation.

It had a room for everyone, with everyone's desirables in their respective room. It also had an Armory, Research Lab, Medical Room, Misc. Entertainment and a mission center. The sky, and everything around the hemisphere, was the beauty of the cosmos.* *The Elderly man begins to walk towards the mansion* "This area, is outside of time and space. You can be here without disturbing your own. But the one you know as 'Ginger' is in quite the predicament. An organization known as Orion has taken him. Orion possesses a device that enables them to manipulate time, and go and change the course of it. This, cannot be allowed, and it seems to have personal relevance to all of you. From here you will be able to detect anomalies in time on your quadrant of the Omniverse, that will most likely be Orion, and where Orion is, Ginger most likely is." *He begins to look weak* "Now, I must retire, and entrust this onto you. Lincoln turns around, terrified "Everyone get the hell out of the room! They're tearing through the rift!" One of the men, who goes by the name of Carter, turns off the power in the room completely, and deactivates everyone's suits. As they exit the room, Ginger turns around to see a pale, blue tear in space, which seems both 2 and 3 dimensional. Something leaks out of the rift as he's dragged through the exit. The door is reinforced by void shields, and glows a strange dark purple. "What was that?" Ginger asks, shaken Lincoln is still silent, seemingly lost in memory. One of his men answers "What you see there are what we like to call Specters. They are attracted to the dark matter that the Device utilizes, and they inhabit the slipspace realm that we traverse through time. They feed on energy, and when hey detect a large surge they can manifest themselves in our dimension. What happens to a victim... It's not pretty. Lincoln here lost 7 men to a Specter, and had to see their corpses... Poor man. We don't exactly know what they are, but they're definitely dangerous."

Lincoln turns to him and simply and emotionlessly states, "You continue to become a fine Commander in the military, but you disappear. Maybe you went back to Atlas during its Countdown, or maybe you went rogue. Nobody knows." Ginger looks startled "The Countdown? What the hell was that?" Lincoln answers after a slight pause. "Tensions broke between them and the Impereoreum, and both decided to completely annihilate the other. 30 galaxies were utterly destroyed, and Atlas, formerly a megapower, now faces itself peace for the first time in 18,000 years, but only has one habitable galaxy remaining. They went into inclusion, and we haven't heard from them yet. Their neighbors are mostly unaffected so far, however."
