when someone wears the wrong class item for their class
ex: MotTM on a gunslinger, obsidian mind on a sunsinger, helm of saint on a striker

I use saint 14 helm on striker because that's how I'm 31 for iron banner and it tricks out the other team, them thinking you have a bubble when really you're running to fist of havoc them is glorious, also super high intellect

anyone can see what class youre using, not sure how you think youre fooling anyone. use a raid helmet with an intellect roll and use an exotic that will actually help you instead

Well I don't think a majority of the player base checks other than higher tier players, besides my excuse is I don't have any raid armor because my titan is relatively new and that helm gets me the highest level for IB and is still high intellect

Or maybe someone who don't understand strategies behind doing certain things like oh idk stats or obsidian mind on sunsinger to use special and grenades more often ( boosts with kills not just nova bomb) for bounties or whatever? Oh the irony of a newb thinking he's not a newb :)

thats a waste of your exotic. use a raid helm that increases super energy, with heart of the praxic fire on a sunsinger to increase grenade usage. also obsidian mind does not increase how often you can use grenades. youre really making yourself sound dumb here

you can get a raid helmet that increases super energy with a kill, just like obsidian mind. wearing that with HoTPF will get you much more grenades im sure you understand id get significantly more grenades with that setup up then you would wearing obsidian mind. [spoiler]not owning a raid helmet by now makes you kinda nooby (unless youre super unlucky with rng)[/spoiler]
