Why do people think that players who buy stuff off Xur have NEVER run Raids or Nightfalls and gotten nothing to show for it? Also, Hard Light isn't that great. Even now that he's sold it, hardly anyone will use it for long.
And FYI, I got my Hard Light last week from Nightfall.
