I smell a jerks doing this to get a full new set of characters like the kid did after he share played to cheat...
I'm calling a BS story

Not bs. Only children play those games.

He has a 2600+ grimoire with all heavy exotics and many others
-
It would seem like Bungie could look up what he had and restore what he had. Hopefully, Bungie could help out. Not sure how that is a gain. Pretty weak thought process.
-
That makes no sense lol. Unless he has a huge gambling problem, why would any sane person do that? He would gain nothing, but potentially lose everything.
-
Have you not seen the influx of people do it since the sharplay boy? It's Dailey now
-
Why delete your character in the hopes of getting the exact same character back? There is literally no gain in that situation. They can see what you had, so really the only reason to do it would be to see if bungie would actually give you your stuff back. If there was a way to lie and say you had a bunch of stuff you didn't have, that would make more sense.
-
Yeah ok, a guy put in over 500 hours so he could delete his characters and ask bungie to give his characters back.. You're an idiot
-
Wouldn't be the first

Check his grimoire
