Theres no point being good at the game anymore because when you come up against someone with a bad connection you know your gonna die, these guys teleport all across the map to then suddenly be behind your back with a shotgun to shoot your brains out like there connection is fine, but then they start teleporting all over the place again
I really enjoy this game but i know that i cant compete against a red bar when i see one

Edited by Jibunnokage: 3/22/2015 5:03:49 AMThe latest Iron Banner (IB)... the lag off and on has been horrible. We were up by 5000 points, with about 5 minutes to go, in one specific game, and the lag hit, and it happen to benefit 2 or 3 of the opposite team, and we lost by more than 500 points. Insane. Next evening, same thing basically each evening lag has significant impacted IB. Sometimes it benefits us, but most of the time so far, benefited the opposite team(s). Thinking this might be systemic, played a bit of PvE within a few minutes of the latest lag event, and surprise Priest Strike, horrible lag, worst I have ever seen in Destiny. I don't expect perfection, but seriously, this is getting worse. I have very high qualify internet access given my IT career, and have the tools and methods to evaluate network traffic, this lag issue is not consistently internet based, but seems to be source capacity based from the service infrastructure Destiny is platformed on. During the lag issues, twice have invoked network capture and parallel loading, and the parallel load experienced no log, so in the last to cases, the lag source was well upstream from my internet access. What is interesting is that until 1.1.1 and 1.1.1.1 updates, have seen a significant number of lionfish and weasel errors, before 1.1.1 and 1.1.1.1, I could count the number of such errors errors on one hand, how it would take 3 or 4 hands minimum. Never mind, seeing 'destiny server could not be contacted' errors daily the last 10 days or so.
