Death from Above with Aftermath or a Nova Bomb with Vortex could easily solve this problem. It's also very possible to kill hunters during golden gun.
Removing Orbs from Pvp would be very disappointing to me since a big part of my playstyle is helping out my teammates with orb generation, this would be like removing shotguns in Pvp because people are upset about Felwinter's Lie.

Actually, removing orbs would be like nerfing the amount of special ammo that spawns on the map so people couldn't use their felwinter's lie as much. But bungie will never do that..oh..wait.
