The question was what game lived up to its hype. Not your expectation of it. Destiny had so much hype to be this open world, infinite funded of interstellar travel and discovery. Instead we got enclosed environments, repetitive missions, horrid voice acting, and an nonexistent story. We were promised gambling, player trading, open world environments, personal customization. Of which we got none. So no, destiny did not live up to its hype.
