Anyways, the lash ability is a great idea and I actually had a similar idea for a different subclass idea, where the melee is a grapple that could be used to pull in enemies or latch onto a surface and reel yourself up. Medusas Gaze was 100% the ability I had in Recall's position for the Void Hunter. It was called Basilisk but I reused the name elsewhere and I was going to rename it Medusa's Gaze or Glare but I felt it was super Gamebreaking in PvE, as you could Agro and blind the whole room. However, the whip idea is great.
