What are the covenant hunters?

Mglekgolo worm colonies. Each hunter is a suit of starship-grade armor and an incendiary gel cannon surrounding a gestalt colony of Lekgolo worms, which act as the thing's body and mind. If the colony is too large, it is split into two hunters, a so called "bonded pair".
