That said, heres the ranges (all following the same pattern as before. Only includes legendaries and exotics. Some tests arent thorough, such as suros regime and thorn. Tests do not include perks such as crowd control, or luck in the chamber. They are all done within one clip size, so reload speed isnt a factor. Vex mythoclast is not an auto rifle. Minimal impact auto rifles have not been tested since buff, but had the worst DPS before*, auto rifle minimum is a generous guess. Done on 360, so excludes PS exclusives.)
Auto rifles: 550*-700
Pulse Rifles :737-771
Scout Rifles: 795-821
Hand Cannons: 1010-1440
In short, auto rifles [b]NEED[/b] a buff, even if its minor.

Ive only ever done primaries. This is where judgement comes.. I used my stopwatch, and tested at least 5 times for each gun to find how long it takes to shoot a full clip. I then divide the number of shots in the magazine by the time it takes to shoot the full magazine. This will tell me how many shots are fired in one second. Shoot an enemy in the head to get critical damage, and multiply damage by shots per second. Boom, critical DPS. Word of crota 12 shot magazine Empties in 4.70 seconds (used stopwatch, tested thoroughly) 12/4.70=2.55 So word of crota shoots 2.55 bullets per second. The critical damage is 398 on level 2 enemies. 398x2.55=1015 Word of crota deals 1015 DPS. This can only be compared with other guns that were compared on level 2s, keep that in mind.
