Buff AR's to Former Glory

The Crucible is overrun with Pulse Rifles, Handcannons, and Shotguns. The majority of AR's are trash, up to the point where they don't even contend with the top five weapons in Crucible. We should see Bungie buff the impact & stability of all AR base stats by 2 - 3%. Range can stay low where it's at. What are your thoughts? Edit: the current issue is when I engage in an advantageous one-on-one gunfight, built for me to win and lose simply because my weapon is underwhelming. This lets us know that these weapons are terribly imbalanced. Granted I'm not the strongest of players but I understand tact & game flow.

    Patrol/Cosmodrome The Steppes Enemies - level 2 (so attack power doesnt matter) For the people/Abyss defiant Before nerf Critical damage:68 10 shots per second DPS:680 After nerf Critical damage:64 10 SPS DPS:640 Suros regime (no upgrades, focused fire has worse DPS i believe) Crit Dam:83 7.2 SPS DPS: 597 That said, heres the ranges (all following the same pattern as before. Only includes legendaries and exotics. Some tests arent thorough, such as suros regime and thorn. Tests do not include perks such as crowd control, or luck in the chamber. They are all done within one clip size, so reload speed isnt a factor. Vex mythoclast is not an auto rifle. Minimal impact auto rifles have not been tested since buff, but had the worst DPS before*, auto rifle minimum is a generous guess. Done on 360, so excludes PS exclusives.) Auto rifles: 550*-700 Pulse Rifles :737-771 Scout Rifles: 795-821 Hand Cannons: 1010-1440 In short, auto rifles [b]NEED[/b] a buff, even if its minor.
