I enjoy destiny because the mechanics are fun. Have you ever played a sport like pool or darts? It's very repetitive and it's the same board and tools every time, but it's fun to do the same thing over and over because of the feel of nailing a bullseye or sinking that ball. The same goes for Destiny, the way the guns shoot, grenades explode and send bodies flying, the way headshots pop. The mechanics are very satisfying. It's like a fun sport I do for a few hours every now and then. It's hard to defend the game's many faults, but there's more to Destiny than the artwork.
