Be CAREFUL!
So there are kids messing around saying they want to use share play and use your guns to see how they are then they dismantle a gun and you are screwed. The kids names are [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] so if you can do anything bungie it would help a lot for me and other players out there

Edited by VIC: 3/25/2015 3:30:12 AMbloera41, I removed the names of the users posted in the original post of the thread. The reasoning for this is to prevent "witch-hunts" and harassment of users. As Charlemagne has indicated, this is a known issue for the PS4 and while it's a shady practice, nothing illegal (including hacks/cheats) is going on. Everyone should be careful with their account information and who they let have control of their accounts. However, warning your fellow forum-goers is much appreciated. Thanks!

4 RepliesHello, bloera41. This has been a known issue on the PS4. Unfortunately, while it is a despicable thing to do, you are willingly giving over your account and content to someone. They aren't hacking into it and are using legitimate means that is provided to them by the user. You should be very wary about this and not share your account, except for with people you know. I'm sorry if this has affected you, but Bungie does not replace lost or dismantled content.

Sadly Bungie can't do anything. It's the players choice to allow someone else access to their system. If anything there needs to be a warning pop up on share play(don't know if there is or not don't have it myself).
