Do You Have All Weapons From CE Normal Mode?
Please say I'm not alone. I've done Crota Normal every single week with all my characters, and yet to get Swordbreaker. I just got Black Hammer for the first time 2 weeks ago which took forever, but this week again...no Swordbreaker. Are you all experiencing the same thing or do some of you (honestly) have all the heavy and special CE raid weapons?
I've went back to playing on 360 to help my brother and his friends out (due to burn out on the game), and low and behold....my brother gets the Swordbreaker on like his 5th run on Crota ever! He's gotten everything but Black Hammer now I believe, weapon wise. I was short just one Swordbreaker when he even started trying the raid, and he's down one weapon on Normal to having them all.... Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's getting sweet loot, but c'mon man, give it up already!
EDIT: Before someone says it, yes I know that different weapons drop for different players, and that my brother may have gotten the shotty but not get Black Hammer or what have you. It just sucks seeing someone come right in after a few tries at it and get the one thing you've been grinding for for months now.
It also appears my theory is correct...majority of the community strive for that one missing weapon, which Bungie purposely does to keep us playing. Well, guess it's working.

Still can't get a heavy. I never though I would get sick of getting black hammer but that seems to be all I ever get. Play through one I get swordbreaker then nothing but black hammers.

Finally got the HoC, just need the fusion rifle. Need the crux but considering how much of a bitch Hardmode is and I don't need any of said HM weapons I say the crux can get bent.

I can't get Hunger of Crota to drop to save my life. It's getting kind of annoying. I have one normal checkpoint left for this week, but I only got radiant energy my first 2 runs.

Edited by DyneInferno: 3/27/2015 6:14:17 PMI had Swordbreaker once. Dismantled it because it was before 1.1.1, and I didn't have the vault space. Haven't been able to get it back. But hell, I've dismantled around 3 or 4 Word of Crota and Fang because I already have 3 per toon.

I have them all. Got the last I needed last week. One of my friends can't get BH and another friend can't get HoC. They did twice (or even more) the amount of normal runs than I did.

I completed Crota on Norm today for only the second time and got Swordbreaker. Got Abyss and Oversoul last week.

I have absolutely everything from normal and hard. The only thing I would not mind getting is a Titan helmet with the health regen perk

I have all of the hard mode drops. But for the life of me I cannot get the Black Hammer(I don't care how many you've gotten) and the Song of Ir Yut. I just really want that black hammer.

Needed more inventory space and bank space, so I decided it wasn't worth keeping since I never used it. Also, your theory is wrong, Bungie isn't doing anything on purpose to make you play longer. This is the nature of RNG. You may NEVER get the weapon or item you want. That's how it works.

Finally pulled song a couple weeks ago so I started for some dups for my other guys... Pulled 2 swords and a hunger in 1 week, just gotta keep at it bro.
