Do You Have All Weapons From CE Normal Mode?
Please say I'm not alone. I've done Crota Normal every single week with all my characters, and yet to get Swordbreaker. I just got Black Hammer for the first time 2 weeks ago which took forever, but this week again...no Swordbreaker. Are you all experiencing the same thing or do some of you (honestly) have all the heavy and special CE raid weapons?
I've went back to playing on 360 to help my brother and his friends out (due to burn out on the game), and low and behold....my brother gets the Swordbreaker on like his 5th run on Crota ever! He's gotten everything but Black Hammer now I believe, weapon wise. I was short just one Swordbreaker when he even started trying the raid, and he's down one weapon on Normal to having them all.... Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's getting sweet loot, but c'mon man, give it up already!
EDIT: Before someone says it, yes I know that different weapons drop for different players, and that my brother may have gotten the shotty but not get Black Hammer or what have you. It just sucks seeing someone come right in after a few tries at it and get the one thing you've been grinding for for months now.
It also appears my theory is correct...majority of the community strive for that one missing weapon, which Bungie purposely does to keep us playing. Well, guess it's working.

I still have neither heavy, though I've done hard far more than normal.

I don't have Black Hammer or Light in the Abyss, I've gotten two swordbreakers though. Just got Song of Ir Yut last week. Here's hoping I'll get one of the two I'm missing this week.

Missing 1 black hammer... As for hard mode I'm missing the abyss and that's it.

I've had 7 swordbreakers :/ I've got all the weapons from both modes including 3 black hammers (that was just to make people jelly)

Missing the fusion rifle Light of the Abyss, can't seem to get it. Multiple of everything else, just not that one...sigh

1 ReplyI've done CE 6 times total. I have every weapon but the shotgun. The only double I got was the fusion rifle. I doubt I will ever do normal again, since I already have 2 shotguns better than CE raid one. I guess if i get one more fang, 3 more words of crota, and a crux, maybe I will go back and try to get two more black hammers and 2 more hungers. But with the new xpack only about 60 days away, or less, doubt I will have time for that.

The only CE weapon that I have is Abyss Defiant, sadly.

1 Light of the Abyss, 4 Black Hammers, 1 Swordbreaker, 2 Song of Ir Yut and a 2 Hunger of Crota. Love another LotA, it's my favourite Fusion rifle. Just missing a Fang from Hard mode and the Crux to make a Necrochasm
