Being called a fake 32 if you wear iron banner armor is stupid, I have raid armor and iron banner but I rock iron banner cause this past raid armor is just hideous on a lock and iron banner for hunters looks beast. So -blam!- off with those claims, I had to grind way more for the iron banner armor, my friends cheesed the whole Crota raid while I ate Doritos so I didn't work for that wack armor, iron banner armor is where it's at boys and girls.

i'm ok with iron banner gear getting people to 32, but not the way it currently is set up. Aeon Marine below actually made a very good point i hadn't ever considered. Iron banner gear should not be allowed in raids. Raid armor should be kept out of the iron banner. That actually solves the entire debate. I have some iron banner armor I bought this time because it had some intellect and previously i never played crucible so i deleted all of my excess raid armor with zero consideration for stats. Level was all that mattered at the time. It is misleading when people that don't have sufficient raid armor to be max level enter into the raid at max level without having done the work. It is also a problem for people who exclusively play pvp to not be able to be max level in a pvp event that benefits max level, although microscopically. I will say one thing in sharp disagreement with your statement, however. It is not in any way easier to get and max raid armor. Not even close. Yes, there was a lot of cheesing involved. I ran 3 hunters through the raid every week. It took several weeks to get all the raid armor, and i didn't even get the helmet until hard dropped. I had to rock and exotic. Then there was the matter of radiant materials. Those took twice as long as the armor did to get. Iron banner rank 5 can be easily attained in no more than 3 days. You just have to participate. Especially if you do it the last few days. Then it is so unbelievably fast. Especially if you just buy the buff, shader, emblem and class item. No way is it any harder to get iron banner stuff. You could just set your controller down and walk away for ten minutes at a time

They should make raid armor and IB armor rerollable. Get the weapon reload/ammo perks that work for you on whichever you prefer. I'd love to have hand cannon reload & ammo on my IB gear. Maybe even extra heavy, though I almost never use heavy unless it's a roc boss.

It Dosen't matter really. Who cares?

The Warlock helm looks pretty awesome. And I know how you feel. My Titan has been called fake because he's wearing the full set (besides the helm.) My Warlock is for Raiding, Titan for Crucible, and Hunter for anything else People seem to think that level capped PvP players shouldn't exist. WoW has PvE Raiding, PvP Raiding (which is awesome), PvE explore, and general PvP, and possibly soon to be more. Yes, players shouldn't raid with PvP gear and players shouldn't PvP with raid gear. It's common sense not to. What Bungie should do is make the PvP and PvE armor sets more diverse and have penalties for not having the correct gear. Crucible, Vanguard, Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and Future War Cult all seem to have the same setup. As in you can wear whatever and have the same benefits, it's kind of stupid. They should make 2 sets for each faction, excluding Crucible and Vanguard. I'm done ranting now.
