What conflict saw the first deployment of ODSTs?

I can't remember the exact battle or which planet they were first deployed on, but it was against the Insurrectionists. The ODST's were formed to quickly get behind enemy territory and to force them to fight against two fronts.

Nope. First use of ODSTs was during the Interplanetary Wars of the 22nd century.
