I meant "we" as in the person who posted this, and myself. Or any other Japanese guardian looking at this post. If I discriminated you in Japan and you were the one discriminating, then yes you've got a reason.
I'm against all discrimination too, and I hate how many Japanese people call people from another country "Gaijin" over here.
I would agree that discrimination does not need a reason, but I believe that in many cases there is always a reason behind everything.
In your case, it's probably because Japan is an island country with not a lot of people with foreign backgrounds. But usually, Japanese look at foreigners as sort of a superior human being regarding looks. I'm no expert so this is just all a guess, but either way, I hope you run into less discrimination in the future. In the end, we're all human beings.
