I liked destiny so much on the demo that I brought the game- well done bungie
I enjoyed the game so much that I finally brought a xbox1and another copy of the game- very well done bungie
I enjoyed it so much that I got the season pass without knowing what it would contain - extremely well done bungie
I had to ruthlessly destroy weapons because apparently the next gen game of all time is constrained by last generation consoles- bad bungie, bad bungie go sit on the naughty step and think about what you have done.
If you can make exclusive raids and exotics for playstation and expansion only content areas surely you can make a second in game vault for next gen users???

All of the ps exclusive content is also available on the ps3. I just got a ps4 and can play on both systems with no problem - I can get a new drop on the ps3 and then fire up the ps4 and it's there and vice versa. Problem is, if they update vault space only on the systems that can handle it, then that will fvck up interplay between the two consoles

You can't REALLY believe that PS3s are at their absolute maximum capacity remembering 36 weapons, right? What about all the games on that system that had even more elaborate inventories, like Skyrim? How can they run? You're being lied to.

As far as I know, the Skyrim inventory isn't all kept on a server. Destiny inventories are. Bungie says that's the issue with the older systems. They have 1/2 a gig of ram instead of 8 gigs I ram (roughly speaking) so I'm inclined to believe it. I'm glad to have 16 extra weapon slots in the vault myself. I don't collect armor.

Do you really believe that 512 MB of RAM is not enough to display a list of a hundred weapons, with icons?

If it's a choice between taking bungie at face value for this assertion (that old gen hardware is too weak for substantial vault expansion) or assuming that I'm being lied to for some nebulous reason, sure.

In my opinion it is common sense that it is easily possible, but I have a background in IT. More than that, what inclines me to disbelieve them is their history of blatant lies concerning this game. Many of the things they've lied about are beyond dispute. Examples: 1. In October DeeJ took the mail sack out of the weekly updates, stating that it would return soon, when they were less busy. It's never returned. Obviously they just don't want to respond to our questions. 2. 3 Iron Banners ago we were told that Asylum, The Burning Shrine, and Anomaly were added to the map rotation. They didn't appear until the last Iron Banner. 3. They've claimed multiple times that they didn't cut content from the game, despite the fact that most of the areas in House of Wolves were being glitched into during the Beta, and there's video of the Reef social area from like a year before launch. etc etc. My point is, they've lied so many times that they don't deserve to be taken at face value.

My thoughts exactly. They pull off these amazing exclusive options for PS4, but then they complain about how hard it is to make the vault work on last gen? Seems odd.
