No in game back story....there is a reason for that....at the beginning of the game you had been resurrected from being DEAD for a few hundred years. Unless you wanted a full historical tutorial as part of the beginning game story, that's why you have the Grimoir to go to outside of gameplay and learn your past. Like any self respecting alien killer would do. Go to class outside of work. Now as far as those customer service classes go...
