  • No and yes. He lead the rebel sangheili who refused to join the covenenent a couple a few thousand years before the events of halo CE. It was during the war of the sangheili and the San shyum. Many sangheili took the covenants writ of union as surrender and disgrace and so banned under Ussa xellus flag.

Well I haven't played halo 2 In a very long time and to be honest I haven't played halo in general for a very long time but from what I remember from when I was younger is that an arbiter is some sort of general or like a judgement bringer like someone that does the prophets dirty work for them

  • At first an arbiter was a leader of the sangheili forces, but the prophets changed it to a sign of shame, hence why thel vadammee is branded with the mark of shame on the intro cut scene in halo two, because it was his job to protect the halo ring in halo CE and he failed. " you are one of our most treasured instruments, long have you lead your fleet with distinction and purpose, but your inability to protect halo, was a collosol failure." Truths quote to thel. Thel being one of the greatest sangheili fighters and leaders was sent on a suicide mission to redeem his honor instead of wasting his use fullness by simply killing him. Arbiters are meant to die on the battlefield with honor rather than executed, upon being shamed to stretch their usefulness.

  • spartan 1 aka orion project: super soldiers who's cost far outweighed the benefits. They did not have armor and looked like normal soldiers. Johnson was a candidate in this program. Program was cancelled do to cost. Spartan II: the best produced super soldiers. They where kidnapped at six and basically brainwashed to follow orders regardless of what they are. This consists of master chief. They where forced puberty on steroids so they could grow very tall and enhanced in every possible way. They are taught nothing but war at age six, so you can imagine how use full and tactical they can be and they have a will of iron. Add that they go it mjolnir armor that boosts their strength. Spartan III: Orphans taken from all over galaxy. They resemble spartan II's in almost every regard except armor. They used spi armor which used light bending camp technology but was less protective. This spartan project was the most secretive as they massed produced Spartans to go on complete suicide missions. Almost every group created was wiped completely except for the most effective Spartans who would be more use full alive than on wasted on a suicide mission. These few consisted of headhunters and noble tram on halo reach. Spartan IV: adults who had been given the choice to join. ( not kidnapped) they are still augmented as well but since they had normal lives instead of being trained from age six, they are much more relatable. They question orders and are much LESS affective on the battlefield.these Spartans consist of Sara palmer, buck, romeo, and all the Spartans in spartan ops. My theory is chief has seen almost everyone he new killed due to the unsc using him in every regard, so after years of following blindly, he began to question their motives and went AWOL.

They weren't just some random people they found off the streets, they still knew about discipline, military authority, etc.

  • I know. That is explained in the knew book with buck and romeo. But what I am trieng to say is they are more relatable. While spartan IIs are anti social and follow every order because that was drilled into their head at a very young age. Spartan 4s are still very efficient on the field, but in my opinion, not as good as spartan 2
