I wanted to vote for brotherhood but you grouped it with revelations. Brother hood was by far the best. Smooth controls and smooth combat with a nigh perfect movement system. ACIV is my next bet but the parkour system in that is so bad. Every time you touch something Ed-boy wants to scale it.

Ac2 is my favourite due to locations. But black flag is a very close 2nd due to variety of gameplay ( who doesn't wanna be a pirate of the Caribbean! )

Actually really enjoyed rogue, wish it was for both consoles that way everyone can see how great it is.

I am hesitating between the 2 and Rogue because they have both an awesome story (even if Rogue is very short, it takes the gameplay of AC4)

2 is my personal favorite. Both the storyline and gameplay are excellent.

Assassins Creed 2 is my favorite. Best storyline, best characters, and a truely amazing world. Venice in that game is still one of my top ten videogame locations.

Brotherhood is when the game peaked. Parkour system was great, Assassin recruitment system was great, story was great, multiplayer was great, missions were great. Revelations was ok, it just didn't improve anything and went in a weird direction.

2 had the best story. 4 had the best game play. I'd have to say 2, with 4 as a second.
