I did a strange comparison of a couple games I played back then to Destiny and I just wanted to make a point regarding content space.

I still don’t have everything in this game after all this time. I just want to point out that this game is not an online game yet has sufficient content that fulfills it.
Developer: Sonic Team
Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2

It took me 3 months to get to level 107. The RNG is extremely cruel in this game. You literally needed a GameShark to get the other hundreds of weapons that were impossible to drop in the gameplay.
The Vault space in this game’s bank limited each player (max 4 individual characters) to storing 99 items.
Maybe it's because these companies had more competition in the industry that forced them to make good games like these, but with the gap in technological breakthroughs from back then to now, (even though this is a completely different company and developer) I know Bungie can top this. I just know they can.
