I don't know if this has already been floated as an idea but there are three vaults on the map why not have them each be an independent inventory you can select from. This would triple the vault space and make pretty much everyone happy.

From my understanding the problem has to do with how much is being displayed at once, some method of separation of goods should fix the issue.

Yeah, one could be a raid vault for raid gear, one a exotic vault for exotics and the last one the normal one we currently have with the increased capacity.

I was thinking more along the lines of Vault Alpha, Beta and Gama.
