And you wonder why game companies don't like metacritic. Only Nintendo, because they actually take the time to ensure their games are up to par with their brand. Game companies should start using this as a way to raise the bar. This is game critiquing at its finest. What better way for a company to take its feedback and directly correlate a a proper response via dlc/update. Too much to hope for, when they shrug this off as some uppidity game reviewer that has too high of standards and isn't a realistic gamer. Usually these guys are right on par of the course.

They're the only rating site that doesn't get paid for their reviews. Pretty much all the other gaming sites are just more hype and propaganda. This game did not live up to its budget, and we all know it.

i rate Nintendo games 10/10 to help keep those poor fanboy's illusions alive: that their outdated games are still relevent

Are you kidding? Half the user reviews on metacritic are a bunch of trolls rating shit 0-3/10

Critic response only, never would I take testimonial review from users at face value. As you said 0-3 just for trolling. The critics are what makes that site unique, and worth viewing. They receive no funding from publishers/developers, making their reviews impartial as possible with no direct influence from a companies. This is probably as close of a non-partial review your going to get from any source
