Hello! I'm relatively new to Destiny. I've had it since November but just REALLY started playing it last week. Apparently I have good luck, however, being new, I didn't know I did. Here's my weekend's weapon finds, covering mainly iron banner, not counting material, ships, shaders, etc, just weapons.
Also all of these came from Rare Engrams, not Legendary Engrams, with the exception of one. Also all are RNG, no vendor bought weapons.
1 ) The Saterienne Rapier
Perks are "Outlaw" & "Third Eye"
2 ) For The People
Perks are "Hip Fire" & "Third Eye"
3 ) LDR 5001
Perks are "Rodeo" & "Outlaw"
4 ) Admonisher III
Perks are "Cluster" & "Third Eye"
5 ) Badger CCL
Perks are "Rodeo" & "Mulligan"
Not to mention I got the Exotic Shotgun "Invective", and found 8 strange coins today, not including the 9 from the Weekly Heroic,
I use TSR for PVE mainly and "For The People" for PVP, Admonisher & LDR stay where they are, not really using Invective.
Anyways, here's my question(s).
So should I dismantle the "Badger"? Looks like crappy perks to me.
I see a lot of people complain about drops, I'm not complaining at all! Do you think that MAYBE, possibly, your tenor with Bungie.net plays a partial/crucial role in your drop rate? Mine is like 8 years I think?
Mind you, my brother-in-law has a couple of those guns but had to buy them from the vendors, his tenor is 2 year. He's also put 17 days into the game, where as I'm approaching 3 and he's JUST hit level 31, and I JUST hit 30.
I've only spent 75 marks and that was on new boots today.

Edited by Guardian Zant: 3/28/2015 12:46:53 PMYou have a higher chance of getting legendary and exotic gear the higher level you are and for using your heavy and Super as little as possible. So don't use your super and heavy weapon and be a higher level for a much better chance at legendaries and exotics. Edit: that badger sucks balls. Getting to 30 is easy. Getting to 31 and then 32 is tedious. Invective is bad ass if you max it out.
