Sadly the education system is broken, you learn more from life experiences then you could ever hope to in school. Try and achieve happiness through music. Oh and the thing about yer pop, have you ever considered that he stayed at that job to give you the stability needed early in your life. Heck he probably started playing video games as a way to connect with you.

  • Nah see he worked at a hospital, quit to a furniture store, and then quit to a grocery store. He's also turned down promotions because he wants to "keep it simple." And gaming did work when I was younger but he's been playing games the majority of his life and barely even spoke with me when I was in school, choosing to talk to friends online instead so nah.

  • No problem, seriously though, do perdue whatever career makes you happy. I've seen lots of family that went to college and are miserable for the rest of their lives, and yet there are people like me, I'm a dishwasher, and outside of my simple job I do what I want and I'm pretty content. Don't get me wrong, I do still suffer from both bipolar disorder, and severe depression, so I have my bah days, but one you stop caring it all gets simple. My recommendation is try meditating for an hour each day. Simply find a comfortable position, shut out the world, focus on your breathing, and make sure to set an alarm. If that fails, and you live in a state where its legal, I recommend weed. Its a antidepressant, it smells fantastic, it has a large culture, and a little goes a long way.
