The goal is not to create a male hating clan. The goal is a safe place for women, especially women new to mmo. Who may fear harrassment from men, and would be more comfortable starting out with other women. Most of our members husbands and boyfriends comment that they wish they could join because we are nice, we communicate well, we are helpful & understanding, and our chat is more active ;)

After I had some time to calm the hell down and sleep on it, I realized that my dissapproval was misdirected altogether. What really upsets me is the fact that asshat little boy gamers have treated female gamers so poorly and with such disrespect that a clan like yours becomes necessary. If the goal of a ladies only clan is to provide a safe and insult free place for female gamers to play, then what that tells us is that the general population of gamers, which is majority male, has failed to provide that kind of environment for their female counterparts. This is simply shameful and unacceptable. At first glance I saw your clan as being some kind of female empowerment, men suck, group. I can now see that your clan exists to help girl gamers avoid the ignorance of adolescent boys experiencing puberty for the first time. There are a lot of these kids out there in the Destiny community and I dont even like playing with them and Im a 31 year old man. I can only imagine what these kids put girl gamers through, so it makes sense that after a while one would come to the conclusion that this community is toxic and take steps to protect your own gaming experience. After all playing games is supposed to be fun! Anyways thanks for bearing with me through my rant and eventual understanding. Have a great day and please know that ALL gamers are welcome in Guardians of the Lost (my clan).

It is sad we live in a world (or virtual world) in which gender is a deciding factor in gaming. In my experience I have never witnessed negativity towards female gamers, in fact I found them to be very popular... Too much so that guys would jump on them as soon as they are online. I see an all female clan as a kind of shelter for female gamers from such attention as well as those who experience the opposite.
