AFKers are a big problem in strikes: Can we get a "vote to kick" option, please?

There's really not much too elaborate here. Too often whenever I play a ROC strike, there's at least one person not playing the game and expecting everyone else to carry him. I can understand having to take a quick bathroom break or something, but when you're gone for over five minutes, then you're a detriment to the team. By that point, I'd rather you leave and let someone who'll actually help out take your place. I don't care if something comes up in real life or if there's an emergency; if that's the case, then turn off your damn console. Like in Left 4 Dead, there should be a vote to kick option. The rest of the team shouldn't have to deal with someone who doesn't help out at all. Is such a system prone to abuse? Sure, but I think the benefits outweigh the cons.

  • I had an idea for this. Most people say that if they go for 5 minutes without entering a darkness zone they should be kicked. That won't work though because some of these people are determined enough not to put any effort in that they would wait til the first darkness zone is clear of enemies before sitting down in it. What I think should happen, is if they don't [u]kill[/u] something in a darkness zone for x amount of minutes, they should be returned to orbit. Since enemies don't respawn in darkness zones after the area is clear, this means everyone needs to keep the pace and actually run through the entire mission. Not sure if that's been brought up before or not, but I think it would work a lot better than the current system for afk boots.
