Last auto rifle nerf wasn't cause of whiners, it was simply cause Bungie wanted people to use different weapons classes so their numbers were more diverse. Why they cared to try to make all weapons types equally popular is beyond me.

Yeah I agree. They wanted to kick everyone off of autos to try new things. If they just buffed pulse rifles and left autos the same, not too many people would have jumped ship and tried the pulse rifles. Hopefully now that everyone has experimented with other weapons, Bungie will give autos their damage back.
