Hunters should be PvP-only class.
Come on...Let's be honest. They suck at PvE. ;)

All classes are good at all activities, it just comes down to play style. My invisibility perks have saved many a guardian during nightfall strikes, with my don't touch me gauntlets I can just stroll through the lamps on Crota and to top it all off I have a cloak (instant win when wearing a cloak)
