They're English. The UK = England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Never met a Welsh kid, and Irish kids sound pretty much like Irish adults, but a bit higher: Scottish kids sound very Scottish.
In other words, English kids are annoying, not Scottish, Irish, or possibly, Welsh children.
