2) We choose a side. For OpenPvP. (Dead Orbit, New Monarchy).
3) PvP everywhere possible. PvP should be off by default in patrol and are only activated by the player. (Has a cooldown/Deactivation time. Example: 5Min)
4) Level and weapons are important. As in the iron banner.
5) Level and weapons are all the same.
6) OpenPvP events.
7) Three new races. Are hostile. Opposite for old races.
8) No PvP in PvE Public Events

Idea from [b]BIGL23187[/b]: The game should put a bounty on random patrolers heads. Like 2500 glimmer or something. And that person gets it If he can survive the set time.

Open PvP has no effect on PvE players.
Advantages: More activity in the PvE areas. This creates more PvE and PvP activity. There may be more public events. More participation in public events.
One idea to connect PvE with PvP.
Example: There are multiple towers / Caves / bin / positions. The one must conquer. At the positions there are strong PvE opponents. Upon entering these positions you will be flagged for PvP combat. Keep it all positions is a boss fight instead. Only with the bounty. As a reward, is there a special reward.

The purpose of the crucible is to prepare for the darkness, what would be the point of hunting guardians in the midst of said darkness? It won't happen, not that I don't think it's a half decent idea but it won't happen in destiny

It shouldn't be in patrol, because what if you are trying to complete a task? It would be extremely difficult. Instead, there should be another world or map made especially for this.

They should have a desperate planet like the moon where u can pvp and only patrol so like u can do patrol missions but at the same time there is a risk of pvp

I disagree entirely. It will become as corrupt as crucible and people are just gonna shoot you down with a rocket. It's gonna suck in telling you guys. It doesn't need to be added. Crucible is pvp, use it what it's for. Patrol is Patrol, use it what it's for.

Should be something like world V world V world i GW2, where you have a huge separate map for pvp between the servers.

I wouldn't mind if you could get into it with other factions while patrolling. Like a notification would say "keep your eyes open followers of dead orbit in the area". And if u meet people that have your same faction you couldn't get killed by them..it would add a little fun to patrolling. It would definitely have to be optional. Nothing would be worse than working on a 9000 xp bounty and right before you get it you get sniped from some one.

So long as I can choose when to opt in and when not to. Somohe had suggested maybe hitting a special beacon to opt in. Hitting the beacon assigns you either Cat (or hitman) or Mouse (the target). Cat wins by killing his target Mouse wins by evading his hunter for a predetermined ammount of time.

How about you can just toggle PvP on and PvP off on your character like in WoW and it applies everywhere

Sounds like a fun idea, but it simply would not fit in with the lore of the game. Why would guardians try to kill eachother outside of the crucible?

However, with the way things are now in Destiny, I think there are much bigger issues that have to be ironed out before this could even begin to be implemented. I would personally want it to have a solid foundation of story though. Why shouldn't guardians be able to rely upon one another when outside the city? Yes, there are uncommon instances in which an individual goes rogue, like Dredgen Yor. There may even be a group of guardians that are unpredictable and even dangerous when out in the wild. -But every guardian? It makes sense to me that guardians would rely on each other's strength when away from the city, rather than turn on each other. Especially when considering the hurdles faced in public events, or faced with another significant PVE enemy like what you describe here. Can you imagine trying to bring down a fallen walker, while also having to keep a really close eye on that gunslinger with the sniper rifle over there? And a Defender throws his bubble up to block the blast if the walker's main gun. There are orbs of light and buffs that you would gain from the Ward... But you see that Helm of Saint-14 that he has on, and your not sure whether or not entering the bubble would be a good idea... I am not saying that there would be a complete breakdown of teamwork, but it would definitely strain cooperation.

The only way this could work is if there could be more than 16 people in a server at a time because with a lack of players no one would do the pvp aspect. Also level and weapon balance would have to be changed even further.

Considering the little content this game has, it would be an entertaining side project.
