No. The Ur-Didact used the Reverse-Timelock to kill the Primordial. Good guess, though.

Ohhh yeah, I'm not to familiar with that subject, haven't read those books

Yeah, not a lot of people read the books or the graphic novels. The books and lore is usually where most of the Legendary questions come from.

I've read a few of the books, just not the ones containing that portion of the lore

That's fair enough. Primordium isn't quite as popular as Fall of Reach or some of the other novels are.
