I started out running Nightfall in the order I created my characters- Titan, Hunter, Warlock. That worked for a little while. Last month it got me a Gjallarhorn on my first run of the day. Gave it to my Warlock. (That was Iron Banner V week, everything was falling my way, great drops from IB and Roc strikes and raids... what a week...) Then my luck ran out. Decided to change things up and run Hunter/ Warlock/ Titan. Still nothing but shards, energies, and purple weapons for five weeks.
Today I decided to go with "Ladies First" and let my Warlock head for the Nexis. Soloed all the way to the dig site, where a friend joined me just in time to revive me when a rampaging Minotaur killed me. The two of us proceeded to snipe Sekrion a new body cavity as usual, and we went to the rewards screen.
I FOUND FRIGGIN' MONTE CARLO!!
I raced back to the Tower, so the Warlock could hand it over to a Titan of her acquaintance (payback for the G-horn; and also because Titans never get anything nice). I switched characters, raced to the Vault, fetched out my new Monte Carlo, and headed for the Crucible.
I proceeded to go 2.0 K/D and generally wreck the place up. I just LOVE this rifle. I have never fired anything that is so controllable and deadly, and yet so beautiful. I think it is now my favorite Exotic, leaping over MIDA in one morning. I can't wait to get the Monte Carlo Method unlocked. Bullet hits charge up melee attacks; now if I combine that with a helmet where melee hits charge Supers, it should be a world-beater. (EDIT: Sadly, there IS no such helmet, apparently...)
I spent a couple hours helping some other friends do their own Nightfalls, hoping they could get some nice rewards too. One did get a Primary engram that could turn into an Exotic, so, fingers crossed for him... then I went into Crucible again until I had to go to work. I'll be practicing with the Monte Carlo again tomorrow and all week long. See you in the Crucible.

It absolutely destroys in crucible. Hope you have fun with it because the exotic perk is amazing
