Actually we drive on the 'right' side lol. The majority of people in the world are right handed. In the old days everyone had horse drawn wagons and when they would meet people on the road they would pull their reigns to the right. So naturally when automobiles became a norm, they decided (in America) that the right side of the road is the 'right' side.
