Jul'Mdama's Covenant has the Janus Key which allows them to find every single piece of Forerunner tech in the known Galaxy, the crew of the UNSC Infinity is in hot pursuit. Meanwhile, Master Chief has gone AWOL and ONI Agent/Spartan Jameson Locke and 3 other Spartans have been deployed to track him down.

Oh. Basically, Benjamin Giraud, a war photographer, is compiling an in-depth psych profile of the Master Chief. Episode 1 was his childhood on Eridanus 2. Episode 2 will definitely talk about his abduction by ONI and his induction into the SPARTAN-II program.

Also, since Chief has gone AWOL in Halo 5, ONI's starting to paint him as something similar to a fallen angel/martyr, when, in reality, Chief is going on his own journey for humanity's sake.
