To level up with your mentor you Dont need to use its move! Do mission 2 and complete it under two min for the z ranking, you can easily rank up one mentor per hour or so, also mission has high chance for dragonballs! :)

Also helps if your mentor is one of your teammates. Makes it go quicker.
