Don't ask how I know that... His name used to be Thel Vadame.

The reason it was vadam'ee is because when an Elite is in the Covenant Military, there is an ee added to the end of its name (why I have no idea but yeah that's why his name was vadam'ee)

He changed his name when he learned that the Great Journey was false and quit doing the Prophets work for them.
