Welcome to Destiny! 1.)Armo(u)r > Weapons. Upgrade armor before weapons to get more light. 2.)Bounties. Do at least 10 a day and turn them all in all at once. 3.)Vanguard > Crucible. Get to rank 3 on both before going to the New Monarchy, Dead Orbit, or Future War Cult (FWC). 4.)Try to get the Dark Below DLC. It IS worth it because you get an easy Legenday plus Roc gives you at least 2 rare engrams a game. 4.)Do daily and weekly heroics. 5.)Find a Raid group once you are level 27+ 6.)Try, try again. I have played for a month and have one exotic weapon. However, get as many legendary items as you can.
