Ok, to preface this, these rules are subjective and while I can't really enforce them, it would make the game a lot more fun if they are followed. Rule 1: Have fun Rule 2: Don't be a jerk to people, even if they are royally screwing up. Rule 3: If someone is down, go revive them. It's just the nice thing to do. Rule 4: Have a profile for each class. I'll be setting up group events where we will use only titans/hunters/warlocks to see who is the supreme titan/hunter/warlock Rule 5: Please don't leave in the middle of a match without telling the rest of the fireteam that you have to leave. It helps. Rule 6: Im constantly noticing that people without mics are typically not considered in decisions, and are blamed for failings in the fireteam. Because of this we prefer that you have a mic. If you don't have one, try to find a way to connect through skype/facetime to someone who does have one, so we can all hear you.
