[spoiler]Hehehe, flames hot enough produce plasma. Plasma, in any quantity, is slightly radioactive. Therefore, the concussive blast was slightly radioactive, and in the blast, I dove off, into the smoke, hurt. Need more scientific evidence to back it up, or should I stop there?[/spoiler]

Fire can produce plasma, but just at insanely hot or low flame temperatures. Plasma is a state of quasineutrality in given gas molecules, the definition "ionized gas" is incorrect, since all gas is slightly ionized. Lets just continue.
