Hi everyone I hope you're all well,
I'd like to ask you all, new and old members a question....what does the D.o.D mean to you? What in your eyes is it all about and what does it stand for in your opinion? :-)
When this started out back last July as a small idea in a thread that became this massive gathering of gaming fathers to me it stood for brotherhood, family, friendship, comradery. Over the past few months some of the things I've seen people do for eachother is unparallelled to any other group I've ever been in.
I've said this a thousand times before and will say it a thousand times to come but thank you to you all that have come together to join together as gaming dads and share experiences and some relaxed gaming with eachother you are amazing and have not only really changed my outlook on gaming going forward but I'm sure your own and other gaming fathers thoughts on gaming aswell.
So what does D.o.D mean to you?
As always till we meet in the stars guardians...

This game and the DoD community have basically become an extended family. I joined roughly a month after I got destiny and found my way to DoD. I actually found DoD through a female non member that had befriended some DoD guardians. I joined and almost immediately I found a few dads that got my play style and they were and still are great, djbeatright is among some of you who I call friend. The DoD website is also a great creation. I created a clan and finally got enough members to get registered. The few members that we have are awesome. We actually met up this last Saturday to tackle the CE raid. We made it to the death singer but she killed us and we ran out of time, but none of us cared. We were having too much fun playing the game with each other. I think the most amazing thing I have seen in the DoD community is character. There was a guardian a little while back that fell on hard times and he appealed to the clan at the urgings of kingpin2, a great guy in my opinion. To my surprise, perfect strangers came to his aid, some not even in the same state. The only other place I've been around this type of brotherhood is the military. This is a great group and I'm in for the long haul. Keep fighting guardians, online and in life. Wait a minute, it's still moving shoot it again!
