Before the collapse, maybe, but most exos were built for battle like the warminds.

You know, I've always wondered, if the Golden Age was so peaceful. Then why were so many war machines built? Damnit Bungie, give us the -blam!-ing story. Being a lore nut, I can see a good narrative hiding. But we can only hold out so much. Sorry for the little rant.
